I think some other FOPS members will know of Bob Minney and may appreciate learning that he has recently passed away. His funeral is at Luton tomorrow and it seems someone is hoping to play Bob's Imhof organ at the crematorium.

Very sad news, Dave.

Bob's enthusiasm was infectious. He was always helpful & kind to anyone who showed an interest. He worked hard on all of his projects, many before it was fasionable to do so. Bob's mobile collection of small organs & polyphons was a regular at GDSF for many years until he suffered a break in. The collection, coupled with his talks, educated & entertained a lot of people who would not have normally gone to see a museum containing this sort of thing. Bob also had all of Mel Colebrook's book music masters.

Rest in peace, Bob. We shall never forget you.

Rob Barker.
