I have received the sad news from Andrew Pilmer that Jan L. M. van Dinteren died yesterday at the age of 81. Jan was a passionate enthusiast in the world of Fair Organ preservation and was one of the longest serving members of the FOPS with membership number of 227. He received the Arthur Mills Rosebowl in 2010 at the FOPS AGM held in the Salomons Centre, Kent and his acceptance speech was full of the passion he felt for the preservation of organs.
