I regret to inform you that Tom Nicholson of Braemount, High Hesket, died on 21st. January 2013. His funeral is on Monday 28th. January 2013, at 11am. at St. Mary's Church, High Hesket, Carlisle, followed by cremation on Tuesday.
Tom will be remembered rallying the 89 key Gavioli restored by George Flynn, with the Burrell Scenic Showman's engine "Winston Churchill", both now owned by Neil Corner, and the 64 key Bursens now owned by Nick Baker.
Tom was an enthusiastic and generous supporter of arthritis charities, it being a condition that he suffered with for many years. Despite this disability, Tom was a cheerful and entertaining character, who will be much missed by his many friends.

Ray Elliott.
