Hollycombe Steam In The Country in Liphook Hampshire will be holding their Fairground & Mechanical Organ Gathering weekend over the weekend of 23/24 July. There will be a wide range of visiting organs joining the collections resident organs. These will be dating from late-1800s organettes, to hand-turned street organs, and various sizes of fairground, street and dance organs. There will be several first time attendees to the event. Joining Hollycombe's resident steam fairground attractions over the weekend as a guest ride will be a super Orton & Spooner Motorcycle Speedway Ark ride built in 1934. There will also be two visiting juvenile roundabouts for the children as well as visiting side shows and fairground steam engines. Just announced for the weekend and not too be missed will be a first time visit to the collection of Meesham's Original Wall of Death Show. A fantastic entertainment show for the whole family & great valve for money(small entry fee to view the show). There will also be displays of fairground models and vintage fairground transport, a display on Wall of Deaths plus all the normal railways & steam attractions.
