Post subject:  Mechanical Organ Day 2012

We have now set the date for this years Mechanical Organ Day in Thorne, near Doncaster.

The day will be once again be held in our yard and workshop, this year on the 21st of October.

We already have many high quality instruments lined up including Fairground, Street, Dance and Hand Turned organs, manufactured in the UK, Belgium and The Netherlands.

We also have many other exibits including vintage vehicles, staitionary engines and model fairground displays.

A list of scheduled instruments will be added in due course.

This is a FREE ENTRY event!

A few other organs may also be in attendance as well as Vintage Vehicles, Staitionary Engines and a Model Fairground Display. The FOPS Publicity Stand will also be present should anyone require infomation on joining the society. Many exibits will be located indoors.

There will also be refreshments available from our local bakery and free tea and coffee for everyone.

Due to popular demand, we see this year, the return of Robert Wichall's 47 Key Marenghi Fairground Organ. This organ has been brought here all the way from Norwich.
