Am I missing some thing when it comes to insurance? My fairground organ like many others is in a van type vehicle, is not accessed by the public, the vehicle is covered for third party accident ( I presume rightly or wrongly this is the same as public liability) yet we all pay £100.00 or more for public liability cover on some thing the public has no access to. are we being conned here?

Unfortunately we live in an age of compensation claims and there are those who will always try and make a claim for whatever they can, so we have to be covered, because if they have one of those "ambulance chaser" solicitors on the case, we will most likely lose :sad2:

Some event organisers insist on £5 million PLI cover.

Better to be safe..etc!
