Fair organ enthusiast and North West Group FOPS member Derrick Londrigan has a collection of pictures he took in the 1960s in the early days of preservation. Derrick has given us some of them to show here:
File comment: Gisbert Perlee reading the Worlds Fair, August 1961
File comment: Becquarts No2 Carousel Organ (Hooghuys)
File comment: Becquart was a talented wood carver. Picture shows 4 new horses for their carousel
File comment: Hooghuys Handturned, with a cropped view of Gisbert Perlee, taken in 1961! There is another picture in the post on this link: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=280 |

Thanks Phil. George has been the main recipient of Derricks pictures, I have just been doing the picture resizing and tweaking process! |
