I have the sad duty of relaying the news that Margaret Cook passed away yesterday evening.

There are two conversations on Facebook with more information.

FOPS Facebook:

Fair Organ Talk:

The Ruth organ she proudly presented at rallies for many years changed ownership to Nigel Myers earlier this year and Nigel commented on Facebook:
Quote:
Yes extremely sad news but it was a blessing. I reiterate Peter's deepest sympathy to Eric and her family. The Ruth played constantly from 10am to 4.30pm at Driffield Rally yesterday, and Margaret passed away apparently just as I towed the organ off the rally field yesterday evening. I played the closing hymns for her upon arrival at home. Yes, rest in peace Margaret and you will be hugely missed. I consider myself so fortunate to have something so special to remember you by.

File comment: Margaret at the keyframe of her Bruder Organ, FOPS AGM March 2011 at the Black Country Museum.
