It is with great sorrow that we have to inform Members that George Howard of Banks near Southport passed away yesterday in Southport Hospital after a long illness.
Many will remember George on the rally field with his Tools stall and as the cheery Auctioneer at the North West Group Meetings and also at the Group Rally at Widnes.
Details of the Funeral arrangements will be posted when they are known.

May he Rest in Peace.

George.Houghton

Hi George.

Yes, sadly another 'old soldier' lost.

The auctions at the Widnes Rally and North West Group meetings will not be the same without his unique banter and the tin lid he used to hit with a mallet to conclude a sale.
