Hi there

I'm looking to hire a street organ for one evening . I am a composer / artist who previous has worked with Peter Griffiths (up in Cumbria, now retired, I think) producing new music for Street Organs

(see http://www.vimeo.com/4762939 ).

I've been asked by Grizedale arts to remake this for an event at Tate Britain, London on 4th June ( it's a monthly event called Tate Late - http://www.tate.org.uk/britain/eventseducation/lateattatebritain/ ).

The organ obviously would need to have midi capabilities and I would need to be able to arrange and test the piece. I wondered if anyone out there had such an organ and would be interested?

thanks Tim

Hi Tim.

I have moved your post to the Public section, so that anyone can reply, even if they are not registered on the forum.

I am sending a batch email to all Organ Availability members with your request, so we will see if there are any takers!

Hi Tim.

I sent a batch message to all Organ Availability members, so we will see what happens.

Is the event to be held at the Tate Modern in London?

The event's at Tate Britain on Millbank, London (the old one where they show British Art from 1500 to the present day)

Hi Tim,

Unfortunately I'm busy all that weekend. Sounds very interesting though!

Hope you find someone that's free.

Regards, Joe

Hi Tim.

I received a message from Ernie Thomas in Milton Keynes:

This will of course depend on what size instrument you are looking for Tim.
