Can anyone confirm that the "Cello" organ that is now back in Holland and has been restored is the same organ as "De Cello" that I have a 1928 recording of.

There are some recordings of "De Cello" in this FOPS Forum Music post

It's indeed the same organ as on the 1928 recording. The Nederlands Fonds voor Draaiorgelbehoud has released a cd (only available to members) containing some of the old recordings.

Thanks to Ben and Bisebaer for the replies the Organ still has a lovely sound and it is nice to see it back home in Holland.
The Youtube video shows that plenty of people were interested in listening to the Organ.
I made a CD with 21 tracks of old Dutch Organs recorded circa 1930 which included 4 tracks of De Cello, 2 tracks of De Grote Radio,
4 tracks Dubbele Biphone,7 tracks Amsterdam Harmonica,4 Tracks De Snuffel, with the aid of our Administrator Dave Stubbs.
The quality of the original 78 rpm recordings is quite amazing considering that they were made 80 years ago.
Some of them I have posted on the forum.
regards
George. :grinder:
