Where can we hear Organs playing for Christmas Fairs and in Shopping centres this year.
Do Organ owners not take their Organs out during the Festive Season anymore?

Hi George.

At the risk of being a little self-indulgent, your organ is going to the Merseyway Shopping Centre in Stockport on Saturday 18th and Bramall Hall in Cheshire on the 19th December!

I will take this opportunity to wish all FOPS Forum users and viewers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2011.

File comment: Your truly at Bramall Hall last December in the snow!

Sam Price will have been playing his Bruder in Nottingham on Wensday 22nd Decmember and they also going to be a couple of hand-turned street organs on the 22nd Decmember in Nottingham as well which will be part of the Wensday late night christmas shopping entertainment.

Hi Folks.

Well that is it for organ bookings this year.

The Bramall Hall job was the coldest 'organeering' day I have ever experienced. It was -7C when I set up and it warmed up to about 0C during the day. The organ didn't like the cold either and sounded a little 'bronchial' until about 1pm!

My brew-up water was solid in the carrier, so I had to put it in front of the generator exhaust to melt it and the small camping gas cylinders don't work properly in very cold conditions and have to be warmed up before they produce any gas.

If you have your own cold weather organeering stories, let us know! :snowman

Once again, I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. :hai2:

Last years video of the Bramall Hall event: http://www.dsvc.co.uk/video/bramallxmas09.wmv

File comment: An evening scene at Bramall Hall, near Stockport, Cheshire. The Fairorgan is on the left!

Hi all,
Just to let you all know that Sam Price won't be in Nottingham today with his Bruder due to the snow, I don't have any info on if the hand-turned organs are coming or not to Nottingham today aswell.
