This is a brief summary of the type of Street and Fair Organs that we have produced. Most of the organs produced have been the hand turned type of street organ, mostly 'book' playing type in the range of 20/22 keyless. We have, at times, made paper roll operated organs using the standard 20-note rolls, these have been the 20-note 'Busker' (chest) type organ, made to be carried and played at the same time, the weight being just under 18 lbs (9 kilos). Also using the 20-note roll, a reed type organ that can also play the extended 20-note scale as devised by Ian Alderman with an extra 6 notes. |
We are now retired from full-time organ building but can still undertake tuning, repairs and upgrades of existing hand-turned street organs. Also, we are producing a limited edition of 20/22-note book-playing street organ music. See price list.
