Membership Renewal and Insurance for 2016/2017

Hi Folks.

Membership renewals will be due on the 1st of October as usual. Members registered with the online members system will receive a renewal reminder email in the early hours (usually around 3 am) on the 1st October.

We received a message from the FOPS organ insurance company Sorvio who inform us that although the basic rate of insurance remains at £5.50 per £1000 insured, the Government have increased Insurance Premium Tax from 6% to 10%, so there will be a slight increase when you renew your insurance.

Can you provide the Membership Secretary with details of any instruments you wish to be included in the Organ Availability Register (OAR) and also if you wish them to be included on the website OAR as well as the one printed in the first Keyframe of the year.

The FOPS membership year runs from the 1st October to the 30th September.

UK Ordinary Single £21
UK Ordinary Joint £23
UK Senior Single £17
UK Senior Joint £18
UK Junior (single only) £10
Overseas Single £30
Overseas Joint £33

"UK Junior" is a member up to the age of 16
"UK Ordinary" is a member aged 16 to 64
"UK Senior" is a member age 65 or over

Joint members are two named people, resident at the same address, who are each entitled to vote at meetings of the society and share the same publication entitlement as a single member.
