As Dave has very kindly welcomed me to the forum, I thought it only right to introduce myself....those of you who already know me go and walk the dog, or put the kettle on!

I got interseted in fair organs in 1969 when visiting the Seend rallies in Wiltshire (anyone remember them?), where I bought, from Irene's Records, an LP of the late Arthur Mills Gavi.
I collected records, and went to rallies for years, then had the good fortune to meet my best mate, Ray Bryant, and got involved with his 69 keyless Dean "Charlotte Rose" from the inception. I then learned to arrange music for this organ, and sold some to other victi....sorry, customers, although work constraints now mean that I have had to slow down in this area somewhat.

For some years, I ran "Organ Alley" at the GDSF, until the plug was pulled a while ago. Pity, as it was really popular.

I recently purchased an organ....and have set myself a challenge, as both organ and lorry need some work to make good.

That basically, is me!

Congratulations and welcome to the Organ Owners world Alan.
Sorry, I have no Dog to walk more of an armchair organ grinder these days.
You will need a lot of patience and dedication to restore the Organ but knowing you I think the result will be another fine instrument that will entertain the public for many years.
Please keep us informed of progress via the Forum.
