Hello everyone,

I have done (from memory) a very basic arrangement in MIDI of a song which used to be played on BBC radio 2 around the late 1970s/early 1980s. I haven't heard it since then. I think it was a Christmas song. A man (who sounded a bit like Cat Stevens) was singing something in the verse about 'asking him for a room for the night'. The chorus was sung in French with the word 'l'enfant' in there somewhere. In the final chorus a woman is singing the high counter melody which I have tried to replicate.

I hope this jogs someone's memory. I would love to hear this again.

Cheers,
Rob.

Sorry, Rob

I can't place this tune at all. A couple of short bits sounded half familiar......

There must be someone at the Beeb who could help (the old style record library?)
