I have just attempted to buy the "Anderton and Rowland Grand Organ - A Centenary Celebration" CD from Tony Harrison, only to be told that it is sold out. My internet search has failed to find another source. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a copy of this CD? My grateful thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Peter Collins.

I can't believe that this CD is no longer available or, if it is, that no one can point me in the right direction. Surely it's out there somewhere? Peter Collins.

Peter, the Anderton & Rowland Grand Organ CD is still available from Amersham Fair Organ Museum, (to whom cheques should be made payable ) price £12 + £2.50 postage & packing. Please contact the Secretary, Kevin Meayers, Unit 1, 214 Bellingdon Road, Chesham, Bucks, HP5 2NN, or telephone him on 01494 776716. I know you will enjoy this superb CD. Ray Elliott, AFOM.

Many thanks for the info Ray and George - I will be placing an order soon. Although I now live in France, I have many happy memories of seeing, and listening to, this superb organ, at Stourpaine and elsewhere. Sadly the French don't seem to share the British passion for steam and bygone fairground ephemera. Thank you again. Peter Collins.

Just to bring this exchange up-to-date, the Amersham Fair Organ Museum no longer has this CD. But to anyone out there who wants a copy, it is still available from the current custodian of the organ, Peter Phillipps, "Higher Gillies", Conce Moor, Bugle, St.Austell, Cornwall, PL26 8RT.
It's still £12-00, plus £1-00 postage if you're in the UK. It took me a while to find this CD, but with the help of the posters named above, plus Teddy Reed of the Amersham museum, and Kevin Meayers - the museum secretary - who led me to Peter Phillipps, I triumphed! And it was worth the search - this is a superb recording of a magnificent organ. I particularly like the fact that the music fits the style and period of the organ, there's no attempt to be "trendy" with more modern tunes. This disc is a "must" for any fairground organ enthusiast. Get it! You won't be sorry. Thank you again everyone for your help. Peter Collins.
