As promised, I have now received a picture of the Imhof and Mukle (or should it be Muckle, there seems to be two spellings?) barrel organ at Speke Hall, near Liverpool.

So far, the only reference I can find is on a website: http://www.goetzegwynn.co.uk/opuslist.shtml with the reference "1865 Imhof and Mukle clockwork barrel organ at Speke Hall for the National Trust"

Sadly, the National Trust don't play the instrument and only have a recording which they play to the hall visitors.

It certainly is a nice looking instrument .
What a pity they only play a recording of it
It needs to be played on a regular basis .
So many of these old organs are just on display and never get played because the custodians think wrongly that it is better to not play them.
